History Toons ("we", "us") produces and publishes short animated videos to our own accounts on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and Facebook. This policy explains what data our publishing tools access and how it's used.
To publish videos to our own official History Toons accounts, our tools use each platform's official API (YouTube Data API, TikTok Content Posting API, Meta Graph API) with an authorization token scoped to those accounts. This access is limited to:
We do not access, collect, or store any data belonging to viewers, followers, or other users of these platforms. We do not read comments, messages, or personal information through these APIs.
We store the video files, thumbnails and text we create for our own content, and the authorization tokens needed to publish to our own accounts. Tokens are kept only for as long as needed to operate the channel and are not shared with any third party.
We do not sell, rent, or share any data with third parties, other than sending our own content to the platforms listed above through their official publishing APIs.
Our content is general-audience and not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone through this service.
We may update this policy from time to time. The date above reflects the most recent change.
